  4. I was honestly not trying to insight an arguement or even get involved, just wanted to point out that the way we give in to minorities does not happen in many other countries (none ive come across so far on my travels)

  5. As a Christian and I was in church this morning before you ask, all I'll say about this site is that last month I was a misguided fool this month the majority.

That's it from me on this subject

Please explain then, how we "give in" to minorities? I work with a minority group and its a pretty good thing that their rights have been recognised, though they are still marginalised by many.

Just wondering by what standard we judge how christian or not this country is, cos it can't be by Church attendance thats for sure >:D

  14. The government/press could say or do what they want - nothing could ever create a big enough smoke screen for fair minded, well balanced people to be bamboozled by.

I live in a rural part of the country, the local population is very much in the majority. In the summer I drove a camper van for a friend of mine to get some warranty work done in a residential area of Birmingham. When I got their they were busy and said it would be around three hours. I decided to go and see the big city, get something to eat and get an inner tube for my wife's bike. I soon realised that I was in the minority and suffered some abuse.
I would imagine that if the circumstances were reversed and a visitor to my village was treated like this there would be some legal repercussion.
I will now probably be accused of being a bigot, racist or some other kind of "ist"
