To be fair I'd have to talk myself into it by considering how long it would take to save up say £3k. At some points in life that would have been a week, at others it would have been years, right now - not a hope in hell. My options are clear at least!
At the moment conditions for building engines on the driveway are ideal - no wind, a bit cold maybe but .
I know from bitter(ly cold) experience that engine parts are not fun to handle in this weather, that as well as cleanliness was why my first home attempt was in a heated summerhouse/office and second was on the dining room table!
Trying to locate the pictures of my engine build on my PC have made me realise my photo indexing software has choked on too many pictures, the realisation made me buy a new program.. I tried a few free ones and they just blew up. When it has finished with the about 150 000 digital photos, I can then locate the pictures..
