EMPI vs Scat shifter

I'm no expert but you cannot say that a csp, berg or bug tech shifter are the same shifter with a different label and they are in a totally different league to empi or scat shifters

 

Hai guys, i just fitted a scat to my late bay and i had issues getting it into reverse. not sure if it was just because i haddent set it right but the trigger for reverse wouldnt push the gear shaft down. i looked up and someone said to remove the base plate which i did which works. only problem is reverse is on the same level as all other gears. dont know if this helps or anyone can help me sort it so the shifter works properly for reverse?
