Jeff Lynn was on Chris Evans show this morning, not the most talkative of guys, you could almost dismiss him as "boring", but I think that does him a disservice; I think he's just a modest bloke who lets the music do the talking. I kind of get where you're coming from Dicky, I grew up in a house where one of my brothers had every ELO LP from their first one up to Discovery, and played them non stop.....I particularly hated Discovery, especially Don't Bring Me Down, and Diary of Horace Wimp ( what a marmite title for a song ). But listening to it now, there's some great pop on it, Last Train To London and Shine A Little Love. Haven't heard the new stuff mind.

Horace Wimp is BRILLIANT. Story of a typical shy guy trying to get along. "Monday (monday) Late again today, he'd be in trouble though he'd say he was sorry." Oh how I know that feeling. I HATED my shift manager purely because he had a strong dislike for me, I honestly don't know why.
