  5. Shard End was fine at the time. Although I actually lived in Castle Bromwich. Sheldon Heath? Do you know Downsfield Road. I lived there as little kid. My first school was Stanville Road.

  6. Ok I may have slightly exaggerated!:D

When was that? I went to Lyndon Green junior and infants, I passed my 11plus and could have gone to Waverley Grammer with my then best mate Jez, but all my brothers went to Sheldon so I went there too. One of my best mates in those first few years at the comp lived in Downsfield Road, Kenny McGeehan. Wonder what became of these chaps, I know Kenny joined the army from school....I lived in Bellevue Road just round the corner from you

  8. Think I was 5 when we left there . We lived at number 72, a maisonettes. Did you know a family called Knight? I later worked with two of the brothers in my first job, but I'm struggling with their names at the mo (age eh). But I know one of the older ones was called Jimmy, Jimmy Night.

No, that doesn't ring a bell. Been a lot of redevelopment round there, some of it, including the school, hardly recognisable. What was this thread about again? :)

  18. Love elo .
Didnt the cello player get killed driving a t2 an a bail of hay smashed him roling down a hill.
    Or something like that .?

    Here it is ...
Mike Edwards was killed on the A381 road between Harbertonford and Halwell near where he lived in Totnes in Devon, on 3 September 2010, when a cylindrical hay bale weighing 1,300 pounds (590 kg) rolled down a hillside and collided with the van he was driving.[11][12] A court case concluding on 19 November 2012 resulted in two defendants being found not guilty of health and safety charges relating to the accident..

Must of been a late bay . They have this type of luck it mentions "devon" ?...!
