electroplating

    Hi All
    thinking about getting my carb cross link and vacuum balance tubes re-plated because they have surface rust, i painted the tinwear when i rebuilt the motor and they look pretty crappy now,dose anyone know what the original finish was?

    I thought they were banning that due to EU laws ? Or am I thinking of zinc pasivate yellow

    Cad plating is being banned..its giving us quite a bit of test work in the aerospace sector as they need alternative solutions to Cad plated materials and any solutions have little test data to work with!
