Dubs in the Forest - Brockenhurt, New Forest - 16-18 Sept 2011

we are driving down friday night so should see you guys around the 8.00 mark.

 

Local weather woman, (who avoided a kick in the boobies from Birdy at Summer Camp for giving nice weather), says dry for most of the weekend, maybe a bit of rain Sunday but generally a bit colder than it has been.

I can say it's definitely turned a bit colder this past week. It's still ok and t-shirt weather when the suns out during the day but jumper on weather as it starts to get dark.

 

Latest summary:

Fri 20 degrees and dry
Sat 16 degrees and chance of rain shower or two in the afternoon
Sun 16 degrees small chance of rain but pretty dry

It does get to a low of 8 degrees at night though...

 

i am very much looking forward to meeting some new TLBers .... I know my van is not very easy to spot (it's bright pink) .. so feel free to come over and say hi if you find me.

i'm going to put my awning up in case it rains so we can sit in there and converse ....

 

We are looking forward to putting names to faces ... although we aren't in TLB camping - you lot are too rowdy for a six year old!

Besides looking out for a pink van ... hmmm ... six year old daughter ... think she might spot that one! (and she will want to take a photo to join her selection of pink VW pics) ... is there going to be any other way of finding you all ... will TLB banner be there? Or do we just look for the group of people who look hungover when we get there on Sat am?

We're heading out about 13:30 on Friday from Portsmouth, anyone leaving similar times en route?

 

Leaving LaLa about 4pm - so should be there by 9pm

 

HEAVY rain and even hail predicted for Saturday! crikey!

 

I'll be on the bus trip and then the scrumpy farm on Saturday plus it's my boys 6th birthday so rain WILL NOT stop play lol.

 

I should be there around 6:30 red and white van with 2 springers parked with a red split van.
