Count me out on the cocktails. I had my fair share at summer camp though I didn't get to try the cum of unicorn ;)

  10. It clashes with Dad's camp at my daughters school. I have permission to take Marge which is a bonus, the challenge will be to keep my sanity whilst 40 small children clamber about inside her (better make sure I hide the Calvados well). Probably popping along to Holton on Sunday for a browse.

  12. Top Tip

If you love traffic jams come off the M27 at Cadnam and head for Lyndhurst. Can take about an hour to do 2 miles.

    Otherwise, cut through Ashhurst/Totton. A35

I've worked in Lyndhurst for years and the traffic from Easter to October is hell on earth

Is this just a Late Bay event or is it a show for all or a camp over? I guess all this may be answered on the first post. Will check anyhows :)

lol so I did answer my own question. Should have taken the time to look first really. Anyways looking into coming down for the saturday :)

  16. when i went to brockenhurst a few weeks back it took 1 hours to get thru lyndhurst - goes the a35 cut through work if you are coming from the east/?

  17. To be honest the new forest roads are a law unto themselves. One accident or breakdown and you could be there for ages.

Main advise from a frequent traveller of the a31

    - Avoid rush hour times
    - Avoid school holidays
    - Avoid bank holidays
    - Most of all, avoid Saturday mornings when a hot weekend has been forecast.

Other than that traffic usually just pootles along ok.

  18. What is the forecast for the weekend? (I am too chicken to look!!).

We are driving down first thing Saturday morning ... realised, it will be dark by the time we would get there Friday night and we would also have a grouchy child, which is not the best start to the weekend.
