Double thrust...

  1. ...cam bearings that is.

    Somebody educate me. I'm guessing it just means 2 lots of the bearings with the side bits on? Or do I need to have stuff machined too?

    Means you stick it in twice ;), knowing you it'll be more like half a dozen times ;)

    Stock VW Cam bearings only had 1 thrust bearing, double thrust bearings provides 2 to halve the thrust bearing wear. This is a really good idea to use on any engine that uses stiffer than stock valve springs, OR uses a bigger than stock camshaft.

    i have to educate these bumpkins some time ;)
