  1. Only works on the passenger side (to stop you locking yourself out)?

    Works on both of mine.

You mean it's not supposed to be
... and used to on ours.

You will be either pleased or horrified that you were copied and pasted into one message to them

Don’t do it with the keys inside; just in case!

That's what it was with mine. Let me know if you need a pic and I'll dig one out.

  11. I've never knowingly used the key , always just popped the button down so that works for me - pass on the good news
Don't think you can do the same if the locking latches are the 'flick' type integrated into the internal handles .... ?

  13. Well bless my socks, you’re right. Means that you can lock the keys inside the van...

  16. I don't think that type lock by the method I described, at least a van I looked at last weekend didn't - mine has the usual button in the back corner ...

  17. Odd that they didn’t make it idiot-proof ;). Other older motors I’ve had, the button on the driver’s door would pop up again if you tried to close it with the handle trigger pressed.

  18. Which would make perfect sense . I've been locked out twice before and got in easily.
New seals made my tried and tested burglary technique impossible in rural Northumberland .

Well this one is a US 1970 import, so an early, and not with the "usual buttons"
