  1. Has anyone bought the door grommets & clips to go into the door cards? if so do you have any recommendations of where to get them?

I know JK has both but I have seem the grommets much cheaper on ebay - just wondering if anyone recommends anywhere for both items

    Thanks

  3. Cool - Thanks Paul

  4. Cool Air quality is fine but check the bung hole size. Mine are 6mm and theirs didn't fit. You may have to drill out the holes. However JK do a smaller bung, part no J12808 (listed for 67-72 models). I used these even though my bus is a 79. I thought I might have early doors but they are date stamped 78.

  5. The trick is to warm them up with a hairdryer to get them to fit the holes. The Ebay ones are a soft plastic that push right through the other side and are lost forever, the JK or Heritage ones are a stiffer ( ;) ) plastic that need heating to fit into the holes, let them cool and re-harden then the clips will fit easier.

  6. The problem I had was that I could get the original larger bungs to fit - just, but there was no room left for the clips.

  7. andyv speaks the truth. There are two sizes of bungs (6 and 8mm?). You need the right ones for the holes in your panels, or the whole lot won't fit together, and the clips'll break.

Either get right sized bungs or drill the holes out.
