I can bring a big compressor and air lines. Just need a decent gun and someone to drive it. If we all take a panel each we could spend all day fetling it, shoot primer in the morning and topcoat in the afternoon. Put me down for a panel.
Ok so need eight volunteers who want to take a panel each , we need a good spray gun , someone who can spray and a tea person . i will supply all filler wet and dry , paint and thinners and beer , i will contact Ned at hayburner and see if he want's me to do a article on it . Who's in ?
I feel much happier driving a van with a mediocre spray job ,I have driven and bought pristine vans [on top scrappers underneath], it scares the hell out of me and sold them very soon after... but having said that it is your choice ,it will increase the value...
I will definitely help you if you need it malc, I might even be able to bring along a lad from our bodyshop at work if you need him and he has the tool's too
If you've got money to spend and it needs some work underneath or on the panels themselves, spend it on that and fill in with a rattle can for now. Better spending money sorting out problems rather than making it shiny and leaving the problems to fester.
if you're after somewhere undercover to prep and spray you can use the warehouse at my work if you need plenty of space.
Also just asking Ed will put the pressure on him to say yes - he doesn't like saying no, so you have to filter out your crazy ideas yourself, it's only fair.
there's no reason why you can't have a team in if you can sort it, anyway the offers there.... mine will be going in next weekend so i can get on with my jobs in the dry over xmas.
What would you think if a bunch of nutters came and did that on your drive/in your garage - *******ed and slightly out of control, paint spray everywhere, nothing in it for you other than bonhomme...
