The first pic was a teaser! I agree it looks beyond the scope of the universal workshop first aid kit, aka the Roll of masking tape... that looks nasty.

You're in the running for best injury this year.........!@*# still 51 weeks to go for me to come up with something!

  13. Dont use the pointy end of a folding knife to make holes.
For me I was trying to make a hole in a printer ink cart to refill it, knife closed on the joint of my index finger. Looks like I got away lightly in comparison, but it did bleed alot.

Did you not put salt on it like what we had to when we was was kids ?

  15. I fell of a bike once when I was a kid and ripped my knee open as I landed on an old rusty house door lock. A rusted piece of the lock stuck into my knee and as I stood up the weight of the lock kept it on the ground and sliced more of my knee open as a result. I remember my mother carrying me into the house and pouring salted warm water onto the area. I screamed and a neighbour came round to see if I was OK.

What was it about salt and wounds for gawd's sake?!

Salt stings a lot , so too did iodine , i cannot remember which one made me cry the most the cuts the salt or the iodine , they were all vicious but good for your soul has a kid if you could take the cut then the iodine or salt you were a "brave boy " , Jesus i was brave !
