I hate caravans...

just saying...

 

I'm about to set up and pump some liquid waste we have been making. Not sure if that interests anyone but I like it.

 

Did you say you've got a T25. We sold our old beetle that we never used for the same money as a nice caravan that we can use as and when. Still got a mint T4 as well. What's not to like.

 

Are you gonna tow it with the t4?

 

Yeah piece of p1ss, see how we get on and if we like it get a decent towing estate car. I'll make money on the T4 if I sell it coz I bought it right and the caravan owes us nowt really.

 

Joking aside I was thinking the other night I could do the same, no awning or faff, tow the caravan go off site in the camper lol same price fee to pitch!

 

Exactly, win win and drive back to warm cosy caravan. No stress. Anyone who camping with kids Mrs and dogs in a bus and thinks it's all hunky dory is deluding themselves and obviously hasn't camped in one as much as I have.

 

Agree, I think if you're realistic most women want to take a lot of stuff camping, throw in 2 dogs and kids etc it's usually the bloke who ends up knackered at the end

i did caravaning when i had kids and dogs three , never again dont want no more kids and i can stroke others dogs (and feed um sometimes ) hotels in hot places with bikinis and drinks at a flick of the finger are starting to appeal more @Silver its a bugger when you go camping with all the said and they watch you do everything and cause yaself GBH doing it intit

 

I tried caravaning as well ,a week in Filey ,down to Cornwall ,I even had a trailer tent , my mate who went to cornwall with us maybe 15 years ago still has an up to date caravan and loves it...

I've come to dread a weeks camping holiday. I'm shattered throughout the week and going back to work seems a distant dream. Add a bit of bad weather, bickering kids a smelly wet dog and I'm all for heading home and booking a flight on a package holiday. Canaries are nice

 

I still had a scab on may head when I got back from Wales and the mrs didn't notice the damage for 4 days.

 

just do as you are told and you will still have a roof over your head
