Done Anything Interesting Today

    Went to install a second hand gas cooker, all ok until lit the oven. Hmm, seems to go immediately from zero to scorchio! Isolated said cooker :)

    Got a call about water leak, my scruffy Citroen van looked out of place on pebbled circular drive! Fixed leak, went home.

    Put together new ikea chest of drawers, attempted to sort my side of the bed. Booked camp site for next weekend.

    Watched Charlottes Web and cried when she died.

    Went to B&Q to buy loft boards. Am living down after a busy day, tho have a quote to get off as we start the job mon :eek:

    It was. Also my bus radio aerial is busted so the reception was poor as well.

    You couldn`t write it ...

    Lady Lasty wanted to see the Mary Rose so liking a bit of museum action i decided to treat the girl make a weekend of it and booked a hotel in Portsmouth online .
    Cutting a long story short , the `hotel` wasn`t anything near the hundred quid a night they wanted so walked in and walked right out
    again . My parting shot to the owner was they`d missed an `S` out of the `hotel` signage which was lost on him ...
    Got caught in Portsmouth footy traffic for an hour eventually escaping down the A3 towards `that London` and stressed to fcuk stopped off for a pint in Petersfield - en route , sort of .

    Things got better as we found a great pub - The Good Intent but no rooms so the executive descission was to head back home for tonight , Mary Rose tomorrow and a night at the Good Intent where one of those modern beat combos are strutting their stuff on Sunday night - Looking forwards to it now :thumbsup:

    MORAL - Why pay to stay anywhere worse than your own bed ??

    Errrr, not yet. Will try harder. Was going to get out on't tops with the 2 ladies in my life (Mrs P and the dog) but got up a bit late and basically idled the day instead.
