    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

I know there are a couple on here I am not one but I do NOT like to see an animal hit just cause the 'owner' can't keep it in the garden due to never walking it so it escapes.

Anyone fancy dropping by and going home with a new pet?

I can never work out why people have dogs if they can't look after them?? They are a tie. I'm doggy sitting and she's gorgeous. I couldn't have a dog because of my working hours but one day. And that dog will be loved. The hangovers met her on Saturday and saw a soppy Birdy :)

  4. Did you see that video on face ache of the three girls who took it in turns to step on a little pup, I couldn't watch it all but skipped to the end to see if it was a video for animal cruelty but instead saw all three of the girls stood on the puppy!

It made me feel physically sick, I immediately reported the video to farce book & commented asking everyone to also report it!

How can you not love these gorgeous animals...

  5. Stuff like this really annoys me - some owners don't deserve to have a dog. Can you not kidnap it and keep it?

  10. I saw a beggar in Edingburgh punch his dog in the head recently. Before I knew what I was doing I was standing over him giving him a right telling off. He started off trying to get aggressive with me, but my back was up, and once people stated gathering when they'd realised I was telling him off for punching the dog he knew he was on to a loser. He did say he was only looking after it for a friend and when I passed him by later the dog was gone. It was such a lovely friendly dog too. I'm beginning to think Dog Licences with a hefty fee should be brought in.

  11. some peeps are stupid though, our dog goes to work with us everyday(my own business) only work 4 days a week so i'm told,... but got asked one day why do you bring your dog to work. wouldn't it be better left at home they said. I said get st***** mind your own.. so leaving at home on its own all day is better for it. it will always come with us' can go for walks and toilet as much as it wants and has company. hopefully birdy you will be able to get a dog one day:thumbsup:

Re the dog licence , i do feel dog ownership has got a bit iffy without the licence. Ever dog should be tag with for ownership details and before anyone says and cats, when was the last time a cat attacked or killed anyone.

  13. I see dogs running loose all the time & it just p*$$es me off, I now own 4 dogs about a month &half back this little girl came into our lives she had a pink collar on & was very healthy, I called the animal control (dog pound) every other day & no one called to report her missing! so when our blue female Pit bull allowed her in our house I knew we had a 'new' dog~ because Gracey doesn't care for other female dogs. I named her 'Lil' because I was calling her little dog do to her being so young & small.

  18. She is little compared to my 110lbs (50kg) male, she packed on some weight since she came to live with us.

  19. I'm not sure its just a licence issue ... the trouble is some people see breeding dogs as a good way to generate some cash and these people are less interested in the animals welfare just what they can get out of it themselves, as a result they are happy to sell to anyone. some of these buyers wouldn't worry about the licence, after all who's going to police it? Tagging is a good idea though to prove identity. When we bought our dog recently I was interviewed on the phone and again during the first viewing of the puppies. They shouldn't be left all day either, I work for myself from home so the dog gets looked after properly, yesterday afternoon we went out for an 4 mile walk up on the south downs and then this afternoon we have been to gun dog training lessons, not only is it good for the dog but also keeps me active :)

This is Ralf, he's an 18 month old Cockerpoo, he comes to work with me five days a week, in fact he rarely leaves my side and he's the best.. I wouldn't dream of hurting him in any way, and it makes me totally sick when I hear of any kind of animal mistreatment. Pets are part of your life, and if you have one you are responsible for its health, welfare etc just the same as you would your kids or spouse. Don't have a pet until you are prepared for the responsibility....simples.
