  5. Oh let's share our 'when we met a soap star' stories!

When I was about 10 my father played in a charity football match with Lofty ('Enders) and I got to meet him all sweaty and red faced. (Him, not me)

I used to cut the grass at a lovely little b&b right opposite the theatre. They'd always have actors staying there. I was doing my green fingered bit and Nasty Nick comes sauntering past and says 'ello.

  6. WE are Corrie fans too I'm afraid - my excuse is that I have been since 1960 and can now guess what is going to happen next - and have to watch to prove myself correct - but can't stand any of the others .

  7. I remember watching Liverpool play Leeds from the Kop - Gary Sprake threw the ball back into his own net - got a fabulous ovation!!

  8. Nope utter tosh all of it, watched a bit of Eastenders when Brian Mays hairdo missus was in it but that must've been 20 years ago

Scored a goal in a charity match against Man city old boys but they had Les Battersby from Corrie in nets, he was useless, the rest were ok though, 6-6 draw in the end

We are the only ones daft enough to love old stuff to the point of obsession.
