Do you remember?

  1. Don't think I'll bother thanks. I think I probably stand a lone in not finding these 'entertainment spectacles' in the least bit entertaining. It's probably something to do with having to sit through so much Saturday night television as a kid. That's just me though - I think the only Superbowl halftime show I ever watched was the one with The Who in it.

    Just call me Victor. ;)

    I could go on. They ultimately left though as they decided we couldn't be taken over and we were more trouble than the land was worth.

    And many gave positive reviews of the ceremony on the website.

    One person who was in the audience, Pete Hendrick, tweeted: "If you've got plans Friday night, cancel them. Opening ceremony is out of this world. Danny Boyle, I salute you."

    Chris Golds, another audience member, said the event was "breathtaking" and "awe inspiring".
