    ...in here...

...and you bought it so you could do this to it...

...would you do it or keep it like the pictures?

  2. Keep it, it'll antique itself eventually

  4. I'd go for the antique look...

Do you know what - if it wasn't for the answers above I wouldn't have a scooby do what you were asking!

    To me it looked like:

    If you had this:

Nice interior, followed by nice interior

    Inside this:

Nice interior inside nice van, with nice sun canopy thing.

    Would you do this:
Cut up nice interior and upholster a perfectly good laptop.

  6. prefer it as it is, the alternative is more the Wetherspoons distressed look....... very bad (IMHO)

  8. I did wonder why Zed was upholstering his laptop, I'll admit...

  14. i think that a ratty / og paint bus looks better with a smart interior but each to their own and do what you think looks best

  16. I thought it looked tucked and rolled but its stitched, Still looks cool though.

Only today I was talking to poptop2 malc who said I should look at this interior, and gotta say looks swish!!

I'd keep it as is, The sun if ever we see it will do its own marking, and only on the areas it can see. Do it synthetically and you won't get that effect.

If you want the effect quick euro trip has to be on the cards

  17. Let it age on its own, it'll take longer but look better.

  18. Oooooooooooooooh you've got the upholstery in! Good job matie. I loves it.

I like them both. But the antique version would definitely look better with the smoking jacket ;)

  19. Another vote for leaving it as is, to me the fake patina wont look good against the nice joinery in there.
What did you use? some sort of solvent it might shorten the life of it too?
