i don't know sean, it is a standard fit in a deluxe van, i'm not sure on what your van was as new, i'm guessing they could be ordered as options? birdy would know more than me.
JUst had to comment that Riccky is right. Mine drives me mad with ticking at night when it's quiet. I disconnected it to get some kip!
Agree with Ricky...bought mine off ebay a few years ago now, paid around £140 I seem to remember, and they are noisy, but it keeps very good time though. Tend to pull the earth connection off at night, but still glad it's in there..
Speak to Stevplatto about clocks. I sold him my old one treat made a grinding noise every so often. And it too was loud that you could hear it from outside.
I can only hear mine when everything is off and I'm trying to sleep, but I love it. The rhythmic ticking lulls me to sleep. So mine's not just a clock, it's like an automatic sheep counter. How's that for fancy, aye? 8)
If anybody reading this thread is after a clock I have one for sale. It is the correct one. In working order - I've wired it up to an accessory socket. £100, cash, collection only from Bristol. That way you get to see it working - everybody is happy. Wired up - actually another clock but you get the idea.
As long as you're all elbow deep in your dashes, you might as well upgrade those old dim bulbs. These are good quality and only $3 for a pair. Best $9 I ever spent on my bus. - http://thelatebay.com/index.php?topic=919.0
i bought two buses at the same time and both had original clocks ,one bus I bought for £150 ,the clocks were removed and sold straight away.. ;D..One went on e bay for brads appeal and sold for £205,this was in 2001... Of course they complete the dash, but I would rather have a rev meter... 8)
