I bought one of these in first class order for £125 a few weeks back. They're expensive things. But I've seen one on eBay for £299. That's a joke! Some folk are plain greedy! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Camper-van-bay-window-not-split-screen-T25-dash-clock-LONDON-/170723773381?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item27bfee0bc5
That really is crazy. I mean I thought people helped people out. If they don't want or need it anymore and then go to sell then why try and sting everyone.
I think it must have been one of John Harrison's Original time pieces ;D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Harrison
I got a complete cluster with MPH speedo and VDO clock off eBay a few months ago for £110. As I wanted to replace my KPH speedo it was a reasonable price. To be fair, clocks don't come up that often so it may go for a bit, but that is a joke as a starting price. Hopefully no one will pay it. By the way - anyone know how to adjust the clock to stop it losing 5 minutes a day? I can always tell how many days it is since I drove the van from the time difference! ???
trust me, having one as standard fittment i feel obliged to tell you the ticking in the night does your head in.
A vehicle with the same configuration as a Porsche 911 needs a rev counter in that hole, not a clock.
Mine from a T3 was super quiet. It did have a really nice system that sadly stopped working internals have all been replaced with a quartz battery operated unit that's quiet
Are you talking about the clock in the dash next to the speedo? I have one! Didn't realise they were 'rare' lol
every one of these that I saw, except mine, didn't work right, so if you are spending that much cash on it, at least make sure it works. also, you'll find a lot more buses came from the factory with these for the German market, I know this because we have only German buses in Croatia and I see these clocks quite often. (real ones)
