We're currently in the process of selling our flat we rent out in Bromsgrove mate to then look for some were with double garage or rear access and big garden so I can build one to get my projects in as I no this will not be the last !!

Not living in it but once in there don't really come out

 

No chance mate Iv ordered some bits to rebuild the rear and then on to the front mate then some welding ect Pans ect won't take me long I'll have this chassis done mate month or 2

 

Had a few bits delivered today but everything apart from the gearbox mount and seal kit that I need to rebuild the gearbox !! Think I'll be on the phone tomoz !! Can't rebuild the rear untill all this is here !!
But pulled the rear main bearings both sides and found out the cause of the leaking oil 1 side has X1 split gasket and other had x2 out of 3 so it's all clean and ready to be re-sealed up !!

 

Only a small update tonight as the light is poor need a light on a stand !!
So got the gearbox seal kit and sealed Both side with new gaskets , allso fitted x2 new gearbox mounts as the back one looks newish all ready, them fitted the gearbox back onto the chassis not torqued bolts up as my manual only came today so will read up and start torquing gearbox and shafts up ect !!

Question I'm not sure about is the huge main bearing I removed and now refitted can't get it all the way home inside the hub carrier but I assume when the hub cover and new seals in there tomoz it will pull it all home !!
That's my understanding of it !!

Had another hour after work today fitted x2 swing axle boots ,allso fitted and tentioned rear tortion arms and fitted all new urethane bushs and set tention back up to stock with some racket straps !!
Did both sides and that's it for tonight !! My neibour popped over to see what was going on in the tent and loved it and it going to bring me over a big light on a stand

Nothing on the bug tonight but have made use of the og boot lid and original plates nice wall art in the kitchen

 

Did get a boot lid delivered rust free for £15

 

Had a few house this afternoon even had the kids cleaning a few bits !!
Rebuilt the complete near side suspension / swing arm up , sealed up the hub with new seals and gaskets,fitted new handbrake cable on near side and rebuilt the drum and now it's ready for the drum to be cleaned up inside and hub nut/pin ,
Then cleaned the near side of the chassis were Iv been building it up and touched up the paint all looking good I think !! Need some Spring plate covers everyone wants to sell me the chrome junk ones !! I want be ones !! Will wait !!
