I think the EU would do and say anything at the moment to show us in a bad light. Our own tests have shown that there is no connection between the Oxford jab and blood clots. In fact, there have been fewer people getting blood clots than would normally be expected.
I've taken about 30 customers for their covid 19 vaccinations to Crawley hospital, EG maridian hall, Princess Royal Hospital, Oxtead and East Surrey hospital, what I have found is people have side effects from both vaccines including headache, flu like symptoms and shivering , I had a sore arm and shivering for 24 hours
This was in Peterborough so effectively southerners .. say no more .. I think if it was Newark or Mansfield I’d have got a shout across the room of ‘need a bigger needle for fatty ‘
^ its bonkers isn't it? yes there have been some blood clots but at a rate "..much lower than would be expected to occur naturally in a general population of this size". There have probably been many incidents of people falling down stairs, or getting drunk or unwanted pregnancies, or losing the remote control for the tv etc but you can't blame things that would have happened anyway on the vaccine Real shame is though that any delay will mean more people dying.
Got my dates through earlier, 1st shot is this coming friday with the 2nd on 4th June. I wont say I'm looking forward to having the vaccine (I hate needles) but its the right thing to do, and, aside to that, last year when I was ill I struggled with my breathing as it was.
I hate needles too so I looked away when they were about to do the injection and, blow me, I never even felt the thing!
I didnt feel the flu jab either to be fair, and, with me having blood pressure tablets I had regular blood tests, didnt feel those either!
I’m off to Harlequins rugby Saturday for mine ....... roll on the side effects Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ive had the virus in January last year not have a Vaccine, not been furloughed because i'm hard as nail's and self employed. Government are *****s mods go and band me assed!
BBC ran an article on side affects today; https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56375307 just take a couple of paracetamols and you’ll be fine.
