Yep - I'm told that I need exhausts like these: Mega pot d'echapement moto, Big exhaust pipe on a bike HQ Reduces back pressure I'm told. But on a serious note - no chance! I did get 70 out of it coming down the hill as the M5 runs into the M42.
No idea but been off the clock a few times with a suitable gradient/tailwind. In my experience it all goes very quiet, all the vibration disappears and the wife says - dont you think you should slow down!
If there was a big enough hill then maybe, mine will sit at 80 on the flat if I'm not paying attention to the speedo, but the next 20 would be scary and possibly leave bits of the gearbox over the road.
The mahhooossive drla's will drag her to 90 on tom tom cus as we know the speedo is way out. Is the trailer acting as aditional drive, i think you may have some kind of electrical booster in there and cover it up with the boys stuff. ) PS: are you still going at the weekend, if so can we meet up. trying to get Woody to come also. ;D ;D
Picture this..... Heading for Dover on the M? In my old panel van (about 15 years ago) the accelerator goes floppy. The van goes faster and faster. I'm now in the fast lane. Still gaining speed! My hearts in my backside. And it's still going faster. Turn the ignition off, massive backfire, and aim for the hard shoulder. Eventually, I come to a stop. Pop the lid. Spring snapped on the carb. Reattach it ( it's a bit shorter and tighter) and carry on to Dover. Don't know what speed I did, don't care, just terrified me ;D
I wouldn't pay too much atention to speedo readings, sat nav on the level is better. Surely the question is 'how much power do I need to reach 100 mph?'. Anyone tried to work this out?
No chance, mess my self at 70. I'd compare it to riding a motorbike at 120. Have you noticed that over 55 you can feel the wind in your face with all the windows closed. ;D
