  2. They even use it for gutter down pipe in this village in spain, could see them getting away with that here not sure where they get it though, good luck with the brew 8)

  3. Silver

    Silver Needs points/will pay!

  4. best of luck making it from sheet .......completely doable but you would need 2 metre rolls ......

    so you want 2metres x 6inch 16swg ?

  5. It can be a metre, not two. A 1000mm x 500mm copper sheet is about £50.

I have done it with a pressure cooker and small bore copper pipe
Out of the valve in the lid with a loop to a horizontal coil of pipe about 8"long and about 3" diameter then a straight bit.
If you still get gas coming out put a wet t-towel over the coil.

  8. Try your local branch of these

108mm and 155mm dia tube is available , fitted miles of it in the past but it ain't cheap.....

  9. Matty I think you need to check out some of my posts.....

  10. From another site:

  11. What have you decided to do then?

  12. I'm not sure really. 50 odd quid for a sheet of copper is a lot of dough. For a family that doesn't have spare cash, i have to find a way to warrant that. i know in the long run the cost would balance itself out but try explaining that to the missis.

    mmmmmmm a tricky one

  13. Go down the scrappy or find a plumber trading in an old cylinder and cut your copper out of that?

  14. Hmm. How will the cost balance out?

  15. gotta be less than new, and you can trade in (or back in) what you dont use.

  16. Sorry majorhangover. My post was aimed at Bodyrock. as in was he thinking of selling his moonshine to offset the cost of making it?

  17. Only for Percy and camps. I'm not selling. The Feds really would be on me for that. Lol

  18. Now I can't make any promises but, would a sheet of free brass work?
