They even use it for gutter down pipe in this village in spain, could see them getting away with that here not sure where they get it though, good luck with the brew 8)
The biggest ive seen on site is 54mm, but I found this American guy that has some big stuff, but don't offer shipping. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Inch-Type-L-Copper-Pipe-Inch-/130442268677?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D2851928036360497903%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D130442268677%26 The other options are your local scrap yard or make it from sheet.
Try copper down pipe - drain pipe - there are a few stores out there that sell it try http://www.rainguard.co.uk/copper or http://www.cubralco.com/rainwater-goods.asp you need to check the guage i no idea of cost - best of luck Marc
best of luck making it from sheet .......completely doable but you would need 2 metre rolls ...... so you want 2metres x 6inch 16swg ?
I have done it with a pressure cooker and small bore copper pipe Out of the valve in the lid with a loop to a horizontal coil of pipe about 8"long and about 3" diameter then a straight bit. If you still get gas coming out put a wet t-towel over the coil.
Try your local branch of these http://www.bssindustrial.co.uk/ 108mm and 155mm dia tube is available , fitted miles of it in the past but it ain't cheap.....
I'm not sure really. 50 odd quid for a sheet of copper is a lot of dough. For a family that doesn't have spare cash, i have to find a way to warrant that. i know in the long run the cost would balance itself out but try explaining that to the missis. mmmmmmm a tricky one
Sorry majorhangover. My post was aimed at Bodyrock. as in was he thinking of selling his moonshine to offset the cost of making it?
