Spanish steps - one man and his ass by Tim Moore . Enjoyable jaunt through France and Spain, for the reader but certainly not for Tim or the donkey . Very funny book although i preferred his efforts to ride the tour de France route without any training and on a borrowed bike ... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
50-50 anyway, my vehicles all go, it’s the stopping they have problems with. ps you can run but you can’t hide!!
Cool ,apparently some people use vans to take their huge wardrobe to the next location.. We have a t4 and various other vehicles 16 at the last count ,I swore I’d reduce them
I can only just about justify 2 with the wife. I want to get at least two more classics to suck the rest of my time and money away.
Always wanted to walk the Camino de Santiago - I was supposed to join a couple of friends when they walked it back in 1995 (but got a job on a boat in Greece instead - much easier! ) It's still on my to-do list for sure, but it takes a fair few weeks to do the whole France and Spain bit (shorter if you just do the trail that starts in Spain) so may have to a/ jack in the job (possible) b/ take a sabbatical (unlikely) c/ get made redundant next year (highly likely) or d/ wait until retirement (nah, life's too short).
