Collecting pebbles!

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Dicky, Nov 5, 2017.

  1. when the kid were younger we would always search for interesting pebbles to bring home s momentoes of our visit. On one trip to a beach overlooking the solent my youngest, posibly around 6 or 7 at the time found an interesting one. I put it away in my pocket and said she should find one more interesting.

I found it recently when doing a clear out. This is real, genuinely found on a pebble beach and ive done nowt to it. interesting ? You decide.

Have you lot been on the happy gear, you collect pebbles ? I’ll keep an eye out for anything interesting next time I’m down at my dads caravan in Seaford, I’ve seen round dark grey ones, round light grey ones and wait for it some round medium grey ones, thousands upon thousands for as far as the eye can see, I’ll send you some if you like

  6. Last time I wanted to add to my collection I ordered a couple of tonne bags of them from Wickes:)

Get them from Brighton they are free, I found one in the summer from the beach it was nearly square, I was so excited I had to sit down for a while

Bazza, just sat down with a coffee and started reading through this thread - then you said what I was thinking just as I was taking a slurp. It's a good job I used a big cup
