Would seem likely but it may be the same, you'd need to measure. Have you dropped the engine yet to see if I'm right first?
Not yet the engine is coming out the weekend, managed to get a 228mm flywheel just about to order the clutch etc, was going to order shims just in case. Looks like my old box was a 3rib with a later 091 bell housing 215mm clutch, the clutch was fully adjusted with a nut and washers added to give it more throw and it was difficult getting gears, however i assumed it was the clutch on the way out/stretched cable and a really knackered gear linkage ( was correct about linkage). Out of interest what is the depth of a 091 bell housing vs a 002? in mm?
Your later bell housing and your 6 rib one are the same as far as I know. I'd have taken it out and had a look before buying parts blind. I don't understand why peeps do that personally, but good luck. Your 215 clutch is also fine for a 2l.
Hopefully this Saturday if it wasn't for this thing called work that gets in the way it would have been today!
