Clutch gone after trip abroad- now fixed and back on the the road

Right bride left 5:35 booked then changed cloths and got the little bigger the I'll the needle bearing that holds the the input shaft fell to bits that be the bigger u think clutch got loads of meat on it so hope it's just this little roller bearing £3 job just gotta press it in flywheel grease it up better and should be good to go [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

  6. A quick call to a pall at muscle bus and he is on his way over with a locking tool and rattle gun ....

    yes it does if your running a six rib box.

    However, the new needle roller bearings are T25 ones (from VWH) so you have to counter bore the flywheel to enable the bearing to fit correctly :)

    (Ive just been back through what we did to check for you)

  8. Yes it was bored out fits snug I don't remember ever greased this bearing only few £ fly wheel off with pals rattle gun and bearing is out shall buy new 1 Tomoz GREASE it and press it in and torque up fly wheel with new locking plate I have ! Whop it back in and go camping the weekend

  9. Yes but I'm type 4 with a 1600 box so input shaft is shorter mate so it's pressed into flywheel been sweet for 28,000 miles this way !

    You know this anyway, clean up and burrs with emery paper before you refit everything, make sure there are no rough/sharp edges :)

  13. Have cleaned it all up with 2000 grit all ready got all the old 1 out and cleaned up the engine of muck ect
