Car tax

You only need the CPC if you drive for a living.

did a cpc module today, each module supposed to be 7hrs. todays instructor was keen to get off for the cricket........so our module took just 3hrs! no complaints from me!

 

There are going to be so may people who will not bother and will try and avoid the tax, plus the police will not be able to enforce it, and DVLA won't be able to cope, queue chaos !!!!!!!!!!

 

Ha ha ha, my instructor gets loads of business from me so I signed in at 8am and by 10.30 was on my way home, like he said, wtf is he going to teach me about loading an HGV?

 

its all nonsense and a money spinner for someone eh!

 

In this case the Agency we use for relief drivers. Cheap at £40 a day or £180 for the week.

 

At least I will be able to draw my pension without waiting for long in the post office at the beginning of the month.

 

I thought that was paid directly into your bank account these days.

it seems you can now pay monthly DD for road tax, good if you have lots of cars or are in the highest tax brackets

 

What difference does being in the highest tax bracket make?

 

about £300 a year

 

Another con, soon they'll be saying, 'road tax will just be going up by a pound, a month'.

one of the drivers at work took it the other day - bloke told him the modules can be anything on a list including 1st aid, they did an hour and as the course was in a hotel went to the bar, stayed there for a bit and went home with a pass..... it's just another government load of crap
