Its warm now as the prevailing winds are from the south. Swap it around and some northerlys hit us and it will drop 20 degrees. Its unusual but its Britain. We have weather! Dont know if the changes in wind direction are a global warming issue but im guessing yes! Whether its actually man made or whether we just contribute to the natural cycle is the issue. Consensus is that its all us whats doing it. Im not so sure.
It's weather. Weather isn't climate. Also, temperatures aren't best measured using the dashboard of your car .
200 years of data make it hard to measure trends across the millennia... One thing is certain...never been so many of 'us', never has nature been so on the back foot...
Hottest Decembers on record were in 1948, 1972,and 2015 the only one they tell us is due to global warming is 2015, so what was the reason for 18deg in 1948 and 19deg in 1972
Itll do; we've been to Wetherspoons and supped a few beers called Lost Antler, nice and cold too..global warming, makes you drink a few more cold ones
Correct It just keeps lots of people who spout about it in jobs, it's their job to say it's real even thou they have been fiddling data for years to suit them
If you look at the time of Henry VIII they had similar weather patterns to what we are observing now! Isnt the arctic ice cap thickening again, having gained a few inches in its thickness?
It goes in cycles, always has won't affect us much. Everything will bounce back and it will all start again
Over what time period and caused by what? We just don't have the data or the actual proven link, only what might happen and what might cause it. Scientists who are paid by politicians are telling us 'facts', but we never get the complete argument, only the edited version. Anyway, as stated above, when the wind changes, we'll feel the cold, same as it always was.
