I would like to be there with mrs B,
ive been trying to wangle it ,
but i have to pick up my daughter and boyfriend up from east midlands airport on sat morning 10am
i may well try and get there for the sat evening

 

I quite fancy getting in on this action. Me plus one child and one adult if poss?

Dunno there's a lot to do. I'm waiting for a very nice man to sort the main bearing saddles and build it up to "rods out" so he's happy with it. I'm not going to rush him. Then of course build it up, replumb/replace all the outboard stuff properly, make J-tube under-tins, fingers crossed the VS exhaust still fits because I welded all the adjustable bits together in a fit of pique. New carbs (to me) and a cam to run in as soon as it starts. Not looking promising now I've listed it.

 

And what are you going to do after lunch?

 

There will be one given out on arrival but essentially turn up anytime Fri or Sat up to 2pm, drink, tell camp fire fibs etc.
Sat 2.30 about 45 mins of unrehearsed chaos, speeches etc. Cork popping etc.
Sat rest of day, free bar, free hog roast, pro musician and of course drinking, free BBQ, camp fire etc etc.
Evening more drinking to empty free bar, hippyrich on some sort of stringed instrument, general frivolity etc.
Sunday get up.
Tour round local mill if anyone interested.
Sod off when you feel like it.

 

No, its just 2 nights 3 days camping in the Cotswolds with the added bonus of TBR,s reception on the Sat afternoon/evening

I could put together a list of things to do/see in the local area if its of use to anyone?

If I can get my bus through its mot before then. I can supply fishing rods and maggots, for the weekend.
If "the bee" fails its mot, is it ok if we come with a tent, and tackle?

 

No problem, as long as its fishing tackle, not just your tackle hanging out
