Always thought if you'd removed the tank they'd make a handy urinal. :)

  2. you're better p*ss*ng near @Baysearcher 's bus....;)

  3. you can fit the hook up externally on bumper /tow-bar, whatever and run the cable inside without drilling if you route it through one of the bungs in the floor near the wheel arch or be alternative and put it under the floor at the front and run it up with the wiring loom.

  4. I had that very set up in my Danbury. I could have a pee through the sink pipe without even getting out of bed!

  5. That's a good excuse for fitting a step!

  6. I accept initial cost is high but was thinking as the van is a keeper, the convenience and internal space would be better for us. Also the initial cost gets forgotten over time and I can then have a smile on my face when I'm filling up the gas tank and thinking about what I used to pay for a camping gas refill:lol:

  7. Very True...:D

I was all for binning the fuel tank on mine and installing a dual take off LPG in the compartment, but as with most of my bus-related projects, they are like the proverbial Lead balloon

  8. Have used one of these a couple times when needed fan heater, but I thought it was a big no no for inside a big metal box!

  9. I've already got the step!

I just bought a 19kg propane and a tiny 907 2.75kg butane at the same shop - they were the same price.

  11. Its a joke really isn't it!

  12. Fixed or refillable tank only makes sense if you use it a lot. Did you know you can get refillable 907s and all the kit to fill it as a fixed install?

  13. Yep - scene tax on a wider scale!

  14. I think it's an urban myth tbh....I've yet to see any labelling on the package that states under no circumstances should this unit be used in a camper van (or similar)....there's always a risk with electrickery....more so in a hooked-up van with a dodgy earth return because it hasn't been checked regularly....the hook-ups themselves leave a lot to be desired on some sites:eek:

  15. no.
But if I stick with having a bottle inside I will change to propane 4.5kgs for much cheaper but slightly larger size tank.

  17. How much water do you people take with you?
I take five litres for two adults and a thirsty dog.
