Camper Insurance

  1. Just renewed mine. Been with Carole Nash for many years and always been happy with their breakdown assistance, especially in Europe. They asked for £287 to renew. Bear in mind my son is a named driver and he lives in Holland. Got a quote from Cherished for £243. Told that to Carole Nash and they brought it down to £221 which I accepted. Agreed value of £20k.

  2. I’ve got the camper and beetle under one policy with 5k shared mileage fully comp agreed 20k and 3.5k value salvage rights and Rac breakdown recovery on both for £270 with footman James. And the car and bus are at 2 different address and can swap either way round.

  4. im with carole nash this year for the bus... always used them for my bikes. I’ve always used RH but found the prices going up and services going down Hill over the years...

Just Kampers Insurance, me (6 points on licence) plus Son in Law (aged 27), £18K agreed value, 2000 miles per year premium £123.27. I alternate between them and Carole Nash every year as the renewal is always a lot higher so I'll probably flip back to Carole Nash in August and get the introductory discount.

  6. The new owner of my camper insured it for just £79.00. I don't know any details of the policy. I was paying £230 with the CO-OP. Unlimited miles and 20+ years no claims discount. They gave me £44 back when I sold the camper and cancelled the policy. Sent me written proof of no claims so I can insure with any company in the future if I decide to carry on driving within the next three years. Didn't charge me any extra after my stroke.
