  2. I remember being annoyed at the cost of resubscription but didn't even think to cancel & re-subscribe.

    I'm too honest I think...

Will be trying this one next year

  4. we cancelled our sub due to the price being the same as the walk in price. to be honest i was getting a bit bored with it you know the contents with out looking inside , i reckon it needs some different angles, although i still buy it i dont read it like i used to

  5. I too got the letter this year and binned it in protest, the current magazine had a cheaper offer. Frustrated I checked their website and found an even cheaper offer which I signed up for. I was more than surprised to receive a duplicate order this month. I set about using my grumpy old mans complaining voice to the magazine offices and a charming young lady disarmed me offering a further two months free subscription for my troubles. Happy well not really, the publication is a specialist magazine and if it starts treating its readership as fools,it doesn't take long for word to get around and we will all be looking for a new magazine to get our fix.I guess they have to make their money somewhere for all those free hoodies they gave away last year.

  6. I used to have a subscription to Camper & Bus, firstly it was a Christmas present, then I took it on myself. WHen I found the price difference between the 'new customer' offer and my renewal, I called them and they admitted it. I worked out that I was saving about 20p per issue by subscribing rather than buying it in the shop. I cancelled, and now I buy it when I feel like it - usually no more than 2 a year so it saves me money. It got too samey, I found myself leaving it on the doormat longer and longer before opening the plastic bag, plus I sometimes will buy Camper & Commercial instead (maybe a couple of those a year too). Customer loyalty means bog all these days, customer choice is king.
