I rummaged around in the loft a few days ago and dug out my record player and some LP's. minced about getting it connected to our stereo and found all the LP's were warped and the sound was absolutely terrible. I've got hundreds of CD's and only a few LP's so I stuffed it all back into the loft.
I did the same a few years ago, mine all sound like they've been sandpapered. I'm going to skip them.
Best thing for them, there's only so many trendy bent record plant pots one man can have, unless you make some matching macramé hanging plant holders.
I listened to some 40 year old Mozart on it today. I have kept them since the 70`s -perfect sound. Well pleased with this hi fi. It's pure quality.
You have followed me Bob. like a chauffeur me mate, I once drove back from Sandy with a full cup of tea on my outside step. Got back to the yard and it was still there and nearly full. They did have record players in cars I was told!
