It is mate. Sounds really good too. These lot won't remember the proper sound of vinyl. Not the scratchy sound but the proper vinyl sound.
Too right. But my stylus or cartridge is bust and my records are scratched and dusty. I used to like my records, but now I put up with pee-poor quality digital because it's convenient.
I bet lou is thrilled.. Our dvd machine has become obsolete and she has taken it upstairs ,she want me to put it in the loft ,it is going in the bin...
'kin hell - I guess all the Skoda aficionado's will be gutted that the VW influence didn't reach as far as the stereo....bet the owner is *******ed you nabbed his one....
Any longer! I am happy with the new handle. I thought the old one was a tad pretentious considering the esteemed company we reside alongside.
If its called "Skippy" then obviously it's mine. Stick it in the LT and I'll collect them both on Saturday. Coincidentally I was thinking about getting my technics separates down from the loft and setting it up in the office to play all my old LP's on. iPod's and CD's are very convenient and essential when your out and about but I like the ritual of carefully sliding the record out of the sleeve and dust sheet, reading the record notes while the record is playing. It takes more effort to play a record than it does to click onto iTunes so everything you have to work for means more and I think that includes music.
bunch of old farts, i bet you still watch porn on vhs and have to set the tracking for the money shot as the tape is stretched and jumpy.
