I wonder if he could get one to me by Friday to fit at techenders, or I wonder if I could get it delivered to Eddy's?
Seems decent and if you can't diy it like Keith then go for it ...personally I'd buy the parts and do it myself
I got one now my pedal goes up and down not side to side! Always worth checking your throats cable after mine had some slack in it not quite giving full throttle! Vrum vrum
Well that was one of the easiest things I've ever fitted to the bus! Simples Even without destructions One thing though, I can't get the nut that tightens on the pedal end to go tight. Have been turning it for ages, and won't go tight..... @Robert Thomas any ideas?
Yeh I know. Keep going round and round though! How tight does it get? I must have done about 100 turns by now!
No no no buddy the likle spanner holds the threaded stem still so you can do the nut up. That's why Simon supplies it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh jeez! Well that's 30 minutes of my life I wont get back! How does a spanner hold the thread still?!
There's an 8mm hex, real thin hence the spanner. Use that to hold the stem and hey presto! It's a lovely bit of kit tho' isn't it? I did the "run the ring" today and it was a shear pleasure now that my foot isn't craned right up high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sweet. That's my job for tomorrow. Feels much smoother and less clunky. And looks so much better than the old bits!
Bizarrely it is, unless you're a contortionist or built like a 4 year old you can't see feck all anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
