@snotty, I'm giving you a hard stare & my teacher eyebrows are ever so slightly raised... No chocolate digestives for you next time.
There was this bloke sat at a table in a small cafe. On the next table were a group of rowdy millenials - they were arguing over the choice of a name for their new company - probably a new coffee bar or some such. Anyway the bloke at the table next to them put up with this rowdy behaviour for some time all the while working away on his tablet - until they realised that they might have disturbed their neighbour and one went over to apologise - that's Ok he said - I heard all the names you suggested and I have just bought those domain names - for which you may like to make me an offer - so take care - just off to register a few domain names !!
I'm not sure it's a big issue really, if I was looking for a handyman I wouldn't Google for one, I'd ask people for a personal recommendation, otherwise you can end up with a right twunt..... (And yes I'm also a twunt) I think word of mouth, recommendations, and pictures of my work are the way forward. I could be cometely wrong though Take checkatrade for example, it's no guarantee of a good job or good person. I used it in the past a few times and not once was I impressed with any of the people or companies I contacted
