    There was a huge row between McVities and HM Customs and Excise over Jaffa Cakes. HMC&E maintained that Jaffa Cakes were biscuits and should be subject to VAT. McVities maintained that they were cakes and thus zero rated. McVities won the case so would not be too happy at them being called biscuits.

    Big fan of plain chocolate digestive. Always a pack in the van!
    Whatever happened to plain chocolate club biscuits. I think they were called Golf. Can you still get them?
