Anyone know where i can get a new breather box gasket for a type 4 engine, the rectangular one that goes under the metal breather box top font center of the engine. Heritage show it on their diagram but dont list it as a part, can see it in the full engine gasket set but obviously dont wanna shell out £50 for that. Had a quick look on the net but cant see one.
I had the same problem bot its only availble as past of the engine set, which I needed. On the other hand there is a lost art of "make your own" Any cork gasket can be hand made. Just find a supplier of sheets of gasket material. Google is the place to go. Marine suppliers tend to be good as they sell a lot for diesel engine repairs.
