Boomerang/Horseshoe plates

  1. Hi,

I picked up a pair of boomerang or horseshoe plates or whatever they are called when I bought an adjustable front beam. What are the benefits of fitting these over just doing the spline thing or should I sell them on and spend the proceeds down the pub.

    Many thanks,

    Matt

    Sell them.
What time should we go to the pub?

  3. Horseshoe plates keep the wheels at the same angle as stock once lowered - so I was told!!

  4. I wouldn't bother... the rear wheel camber doesn't get that bad!!

  6. Ok guys - thanks. Looks like beers for me then!

    Cheers

  7. I have 4.5 inch horseshoes on my 79 and I think it looks great! Just installed them and currently welding in Bus Boy adjusters for the front. Should know what it rides like in a week or so.
