Bob Dylan wins Nobel Literature Prize

  1. Each to their own I suppose, for what its worth i'm not a big fan of Van the Man either, i'll take Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye over those two any day (i know different genres)

    Totally agree :). Having said that, scientists have proven once and for all that not liking The Beatles is a mental illness and nothing to do with musical taste.

    Actually, Dylan only becomes great when you listen to cover versions of his work which are, with very few exceptions, much better than his original recordings. Perhaps he does deserve that prize after all - but please don't ever let me hear him playing harmonica again!

    Dylan hasn't really aged well but in the day he was brilliant, his music and lyrics told the story of world change. and maybe just a little he even helped it along
