I done me bit relayed the story and you shoot me down in flames. It would be so easy to come back at you in the same fashion but I cant be bothered. Needless to say these devils advocates turn things sour.

If the guy was in the habit of using false plates to avoid paying one wonders what else he might be doing...

 

what if he had planted a bomb , should he not of told then , what if the person he saw was a a pedo looking for his her next victim should he not have told ,

What about the poor person who really owned the cloned plate he was using? Even if you believe TfL are robbing barstewards, I know someone who had his plate cloned and it's a pain in the wotsit sorting it out with the police, he will be getting fines, pulled over and eventually police coming round his house, even then it's not guaranteed to stop the hassle. My mate ended up having to buy a new plate from DVLA.

 

exactly...and if they hit you with cloned plates on.....effectively uninsured.
