Most of these speakers have Bluetooth connection but most head units will be Bluetooth in rather rhan blue tooth out.

You could just have the speaker on the dash and send the signal from your iPhone... a rudimentary ApplePlay.

I did this in my T5 for a week or so as the head ujit was knackered when I bought it. It worked surprisingly well. I’d sort a permanent 12v feed to the speaker tho so it doesn’t run out mid journey

Yes this is the problem. I was looking to see if anyone knew of any head units with bluetooth out capability. I'm beginning to think there isn't such a beast.

I bought an Anker Sound Core. I was so impressed that I bought one for Mrs Norris too.

25W and the battery apparently lasts for 24 hours or more. I use it mainly in the office for a bit of background music (so it's always connected to usb power supply), but it can go pretty loud with no distortion or loss of quality. Bluetooth + 3.5mm jack input. Seems pretty rugged with its rubbery covering. And it's quite affordable - around £25 iirc

When you do find a speaker that does the job check the size of the speaker. A guy on the FB transit page didn't [IMG]
