I was 5 first time I saw it. Must have watched it a minimum of five times since then.

 

Got my maths wrong. I've probably watched it once a year from that first time. So that's 30 times! Love it.

Great film - Love the cameo roles , Cab Calway, Ray Charles, Aretha Frankin etc etc ....

Not any more, the sequel holds that record now apparently although I was sure I'd read somewhere of another film that had it.

The Blues Brothers is one of the best films ever, I have it on DVD and watch it about once every two months, the music is brilliant.

I like the bit where Twiggy blows up the hotel they're in and out of the rubble they appear, just dust them selves down and say "it's time to go to work"

 

it's the only musical I can watch, my Mrs ain't that struck on it, but I love it.....timeless classic.

 

Have you seen The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert? That's a cool musical with what is for me the funniest scene in any movie

 

"That's just what this country needs: a cock in a frock on a rock." was the best line in Priscilla.
