Just mind with the vacuum units as you need to have greased the threads on the bleed nipples, otherwise it'll draw air in through the threads and you have bubbles forever
Don't put mineral grease on bleed nipple threads - it's not compatible with brake fluid.

Or indeed on your own nipples - it really stings

You're only using some copper grease to stop the vacuum pump pulling are in... It's what I use on unions etc without any issues

It's what I use on unions etc without any issues

Just as an aside, if you're cleaning brakey bits (like your top reservoir, or flushing calipers out), methylated spirits is the stuff to use. It won't interact with brake fluid.

Buy a bottle from Boots, clean your brakes and drink the rest. Mmmmm

I put my top resovoir and the master cylinder resovoir in the dishwasher

Unconventional, but probably did the job . Don't you feel refreshed now that your top-up reservoir isn't full of brown muck any more.

I stuck my 1776 cylinder heads in the dishwasher, and they came up lovely. Recommended.

I stuck my 1776 cylinder heads in the dishwasher, and they came up lovely. Recommended.
Great idea. Just got a new dishwasher today, can't think of a better first time test. Just got to get the mrs to go out in the morning. )
