Birth Certificate .. after about 5 months

A long time ago I filled in the web details at the Volkswagen Museum, and applied for a Birth Certificate for the Bus.

It was so long ago I decided that it had gone wrong and that it was never going to come.


It arrived when I was on holiday ...

Built October 1973 despite first registration in 1974. So it was 50 Euros well spent.

 

Ooo, mine hasn't come yet, but I only filled for it 3 months ago!!

 

i think they are in cahoots with the dvla

 

Filled mine in last week, prob looking at next year now

 

I've been waiting almost 4 months now

I finally got my birth certificate today! Only waited 6 months for it lol. I emailed them last Monday saying I wanted a refund as I've waited too long and it arrives in the post today

 

what email did you use, the one I had in my emailed bounced back

 

5 th August, so ive got a while yet

Good news then , I been waiting 5 months too, I did email other day but it came back as she out of office till 10th, I give it end of week and try again

Blimey - sent mine off back in May and have written it off. False hope has dawned again over the Spadge household. I'll tell the kids to press their little noses up against the windows again.

 

Iv always asked for just a letter and it comes in the month, it's nearly half the price of the certificate and the dvla accept it.

 

How do you request a letter please?
