Biking holiday ,but not sure were to go ,any thoughts

  1. Yeah Cannock is pt far from me at all but I can go there anytime I wan to be able to stop over for a few nights some were not so local then I won't just pop home for a brew lol
    Think I may look into the derby area abit more as I'm hearing good things but keep the ideas coming I've got a lot to of areas to look at once I'm home .

  3. Norfolk is good no hills ,some nice birds to watch too :D

    Not sure how easy/difficult mountain biking you're looking for but here's my two penneth

    New Forest - plenty of easy (relatively flat) way marked (and non way marked) trails
    South Downs - more ups and downs than you would think but plenty of good loops and pubs on route.
    Gower - fewer trails but plenty of campsites
    Dartmoor - plenty of XC style loops.
    Forest of Dean - gets good write ups.
    Peak District - more hills than the above although good rides in edale albeit some bits can get technical.

    I also fancy Normandie - Suisse Normandie to be exact - but there's a ferry involved so probably you'll rule that one out.
