Best film endings..

Bourne Ultimatum:

We're at the end of the trilogy of the most high adrenalin spy thriller ever made, Bourne is sinking in the water limp and apparently lifeless, the sun's rays shining down from the surface..
Cut to Nicky Parsons in a cafe, on the run, hair dyed black, listening to a news anouncement..
Radio announces:
"Meanwhile, mystery surrounds the fate of David Webb, also known as Jason Bourne, the source behind the exposure of the Blackbriar program. It's been reported that Webb was shot and fell from a Manhattan rooftop into the East River ten stories below."
Close up on Nicky..
"However, after a three day search, Webb's body has yet to be found. "
Nicky smiles, that Moby synth riff and jazzy piano kicks in, cut to Jason Bourne kicking for the surface...
Phew, 'Extreme Ways' or what!

Makes me smile every time, watched the trilogy maybe 10 times now.
Went over the bridge in Goa where they filmed Bourne's girlfriend being shot in 'Supremacy' last year (just happened to be passing, not that much of a movie geek ;-0 ), didnt see anyone suspicious there ;-)

Anyone else got a favourite ending?

Little Miss Sunshine has one of the best endings I've seen in a long long time.
It's a story of a modern family of misfits that don't even seem to fit with each other.
They are suddenly faced with a mission that has a fast approaching deadline. They must all pile into a VW bus and fly across country as fast as it will take them and all on a shoestring budget.
There is much quarreling and adventurous kerfuffle along the way that will make you laugh and cry.
Just as the movie seems to be winding down towards a rather bleak and blurry ending, suddenly,...... it happens.
It's sick. It's wrong. It's nasty. It's side-splittingly hilarious.
It brings this band of mismatched socks together and turns them into a singular force of nature.
Don't miss this movie. It's worth watching even if only for the bus.

Empire Strikes Back & Lock Stock are my fav endings.

 

Usual Suspects and Fight Club have to be up there.

 

Its a wonderfull life :'(

 

Really good in my opinion but I guess some people might think its dated.
Its just a really nice feel good movie.
I very nearly cried at the end :-[ , it caught me off guard one Christmas ,my mother had no chance though

 

I only cry at TV/film when I'm ill. I'll give it a watch.
